Eaton Cummins Introduces Endurant HD V Automated Manual Transmission for Vocational Applications

It is designed for vocational truck applications with maximum gross combination weight ratings of 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) using 9-liter, 11-liter, and the upcoming Cummins X10 engines. Maximum engine torque is 1,700 lbs.-ft. (2,300 Nm).</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">The new Endurant HD V is loaded with features used around the job site, such as an extreme duty clutch for improved low-speed maneuvering, a rock free feature to help get unstuck in mud or sand, an off-highway mode that automatically tunes the transmission for optimum performance in changing soil conditions, and dual power takeoff (PTO) openings to power hydraulic systems.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;">Drivers will appreciate the confident launch performance on grades thanks to its hill start aid feature, the smooth shifting and gear selection logic.
