LM76¡¯s series of ¡°Black Racer¡± ceramic coated linear bearings
<p style="text-align: center;"><img src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20220412/1649729903150869.jpg" title="1649729903150869.jpg" alt="4.jpg"/></p><p style="text-align: justify;">LM76 has expanded its popular ¡°Black Racer¡± family of ceramic-coated linear bearings. The new series, Linear/Rotary Thin Wall Bushings, features the same high speed, high load, high acceleration, low friction characteristics of the standard ¡°Black Racer,¡± ceramic coated linear bearings. This new series of thin wall bushings is designed to replace a variety of thin wall bearings used in linear, rotary, and oscillatory applications. Used in place of sintered or cast bronze, various non-metallic materials, and <a href="https://www.its-bearing.com/products/Needle-Roller-Bearing/110.html" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(0, 112, 192); text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 112, 192);"><strong>needle bearings</strong></span></a>, they can enhance performance and dramatically reduce downtime. Each ceramic coated Linear/Rotary Thin Wall Bushing has internal and external grease groves for simplified lubrication.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Standard tolerances for all ¡°Black Racer¡± Thin Wall Bushings are ID and OD ¨C .252 ID to 1.752 ID +.000/-.001 and 2.003 ID to 3.003 ID +.000/-.002, Concentricity ¨C Up to and including 1.252 ID .0005 TIR and 1.502 to 2.002 ID .001 TIR.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;">The LS series of straight bushings are available in 31 different combinations of ID and OD combinations and 8 are specifically designed as die and mold replacement bushings. The LF series are flanged bushings available in 22 combinations of IDs and ODs with 9 specifically designed as die and mold replacement bushings.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br/></p><p style="text-align: justify;">All ¡°Black Racer¡± Ceramic Coated Linear Bearings feature a .001 in. penetration of ceramic into the aluminum substrate and a .001-in. surface build-up for a total of .002-in. of ceramic. The file hard RC 89 ceramic shell over an aluminum substrate has a coefficient of friction of .04 to .08 (1/3 the coefficient of friction of polymer bearings), withstands up to 5000 PSI, 40,000 PV, and unlimited SFM! Additionally, these bearings have a typical life expectancy of 100 million linear feet. Shafting options include RC60 steel shafting and other shafting options available from LM76.</p><p><br/></p>
