<p><br/></p><p>CanREA’s Operations Summit: Summer Spotlight event on June 22, with the theme of “Flexibility by Design,” features speakers who will share their knowledge of new technologies that will enhance flexibility for renewable energy operations.</p><p><br/></p><p>Topics will include: flexible solar PV racking or mounting systems that can adjust to fit a variety of panels of a range of sizes and types from Edward Hutchinson (HB Solar), and more tech tools from panellists at the Designing in Flexibility session (2:45 ET).</p><p><br/></p><p>Learn practical tips on how wind-turbine technicians can use wearable cameras that connect to off-site experts to provide up-tower support, as described by Daniel Lyons (Liberty Power), and a panel at the Summer Boost session (1:45 ET).</p><p><br/></p><p>Hear about open-source software for grid orchestration from Astrid Atkinson (Camus Energy), and more grid flexibility ideas from a set of speakers at the Grid Flexibility session (11:30 ET).</p><p><br/></p><p>Phil McKay, Senior Director, Operations, CanREA’s, will get things started at 11 a.m. (ET) with CanREA Board member Jen Aitchison, welcoming Indigenous Clean Energy’s Executive Director, Chris Henderson, who will describe real-world examples where a flexible mindset brought both reconciliation and unforeseen benefits to developers, operators and indigenous communities across the country.</p>
