XL6 MPV sells over 25,000 units in one year, claims Maruti Suzuki
<p style="text-align: center;"><img title="1598319859179571.png" alt="7.png" src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20200825/1598319859179571.png"/></p><p> Maruti Suzuki on Monday has claimed that its XL6 MPV has sold more than 25,000 units in one year. Also, the automaker has claimed that the XL6 has helped in boosting Maruti Suzuki's MPV market share to 51 percent, along with Ertiga.<br/><br/>Sold through NEXA retail outlet network, XL6 is Maruti Suzuki's premium MPV based on the Ertiga and it comes as a 6-seater model. As the carmaker claims, the XL6 has captured nearly 14 percent market share in the Indian premium MPV segment, since its launch.<br/><br/>The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is powered by a BS-VI compliant K15 petrol engine. It is built on Suzuki's 5th generation HEARTECT architecture, like the other contemporary models.</p><p><br/></p><p>Commenting on the Maruti Suzuki XL6, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, ¡°Driving the NEXA values of global experience, innovation and excitement, the first-anniversary of XL6 showcases our commitment to bring technologies such as Smart Hybrid, Automatic transmission, Connected SmartPlay Infotainment system, etc. to our customers."<br/><br/>He further said, "There is a significant increase in demand for premium MPVs owing to the ever-evolving customer needs.
