At the heart of the bike is a small, lightweight electric powerplant. Although performance specs are still under wraps, the electric motor may offer a similar level of performance as 125cc machine it is based on.

Given that the motorcycle is based on an existing model, 75 percent of its construction is already in production enabling Honda to save the development and design budget of an all-new electric model.
