BMW India launches 3 Series Gran Turismo 'Shadow Edition', priced at Rs 42.50 lakh
<p style="text-align: center;"><img title="1597893431999542.png" alt="6.png" src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20200820/1597893431999542.png"/></p><p> BMW Group India on Thursday has announced the launch of the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo ¡®Shadow Edition¡¯ at Rs 42.50 lakh (ex-showroom).<br/><br/>The car will be available in colour options like Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Estoril Blue Metallic.<br/><br/>Produced at the BMW Chennai plant, the 3 Series Gran Turismo Shadow Edition will be available in limited numbers and it will be powered by a petrol engine, as the German luxury carmaker claims.</p><p><br/></p><p>The car comes with black kidney grilles, LED headlamps and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels etc.<br/><br/>The power source, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine gets TwinPower Turbo technology and it is clubbed with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox. The engine churns out 255 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque, claims BMW. The car can accelerate to 0-100 kmph in 6.1 seconds.<br/><br/>As BMW says, the safety features onboard this car include six airbags, ABS with brake assist, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Side-impact Protection, electronic vehicle immobiliser etc.<br/><br/>Commenting on the launch of this model, Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, ¡°The BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo is a unique vehicle concept in the segment and has become a trailblazer with its distinctive and modern character.
