SMT Releases Upcoming Training Schedule
<p style="text-align: center;"><img title="1597893044140442.jpg" alt="4.jpg" src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20200820/1597893044140442.jpg"/></p><p>SMT has announced its upcoming online training workshop schedule for September including the following:&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>Title:&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;Overview</p><p>Series: Foundation (1 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 1, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 1 hour (8-9 am BST) &amp; (4-5 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;Overview workshop consists of a general demonstration of the most commonly used&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;capabilities. This workshop should assist you in deciding whether to attend the more detailed sessions within the Foundation series. No previous experience required.&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p>Title: Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 1</p><p>Series: Foundation (2 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 3, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 4 hours (6-10 am BST) &amp; (2-6 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The foundation series continues with Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;Part 1. The workshop will take you through&nbsp;MASTA&#39;s&nbsp;vast array of manual model building capabilities and show you where and how to access some of the more commonly used design properties for each major component type. This will be followed by a presentation aimed at giving you a greater understanding of how&nbsp;MASTA&#39;s&nbsp;system model operates. No previous experience required.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Title: Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 2</p><p>Series: Foundation (3 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 8, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 4 hours (6-10 am BST) &amp; (2-6 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The foundation series continues with Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;Part 2. This session focuses on modeling using a 2D CAD guide, followed by specialized modeling examples such as planetary systems and non-parallel gear systems. Previous attendance of Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 1 is recommended.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Title: FE in&nbsp;MASTA</p><p>Series: Foundation (4 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 10, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 4 hours (6-10 am BST) &amp; (2-6 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The FE in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;workshop fully describes&nbsp;MASTA&#39;s&nbsp;advanced FE import capabilities, from in-application shaft meshing to the import of a fully meshed FE housing model. Previous attendance of both Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;workshops is recommended.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Title: Analysis in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 1</p><p>Series: Foundation (5 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 15, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 4 hours (6-10 am BST) &amp; (2-6 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The Foundation series continues with Analysis in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 1. In this session, SMT will begin to look at the analysis capabilities of&nbsp;MASTA, ranging from system analysis and component rating to some of the more detailed analysis modes. It is recommended that attendees have some previous&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;modeling experience, ideally through the attendance of the Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;and FE in MASTA Workshops.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Title: TFF/TIFF</p><p>Series: Pro</p><p>Date: September 16, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 2 hours (8-10 am BST) &amp; (2-4 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: General introduction to TIFF (Tooth Interior Fatigue Fracture) and TFF (Tooth Flank Fracture). Attendees would be expected to have some previous&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;modeling and analysis experience.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Title: Analysis in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 2</p><p>Series: Foundation (6 of 6)</p><p>Date: September 17, 2020</p><p>Time: Maximum 3-4 hours (6-10 am BST) &amp; (2-6 pm BST)</p><p>Host: Sam Webster</p><p>Details: The Foundation series concludes with Analysis in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;- Part 2. This workshop will delve deeper into some of&nbsp;MASTA&#39;s&nbsp;more advanced analysis capabilities, showing how to unlock its full potential. It is recommended that attendees have some previous&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;modeling experience, ideally through attendance of the Modeling in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;and FE in&nbsp;MASTA&nbsp;workshops, along with Analysis in MASTA - Part 1.</p><p><br/></p><p>General Workshop Information</p><p><br/></p><p>MASTA&nbsp;Online Training Workshops consist of presentations and hands-on demonstration sessions. Working alongside SMT trainers is encouraged with required files available to download during each session.&nbsp;</p><p></p>
