Tata Motors recalls Tiago, Zest AMT diesel variants over emission issue
<p style="text-align: center;"><img title="1597123335952637.png" alt="6.png" src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20200811/1597123335952637.png"/></p><p>Tata Motors has issued a recall program for its hatchbacks Tiago and Zest over an emission compliance issue. The recall campaign affects the Zest AMT and Tiago 1.05 RTQ BS-IV variants.<br/><br/>The number of affected vehicles are not disclosed by the automaker though.<br/><br/>As the homegrown automaker has announced the Tata Zest AMT models that have a chassis number ranging between MAT624201FLD13319 to MAT624201GLC06228 and from MAT624027GPD11615 to MAT624201GPE15201, are being recalled.<br/><br/>On the other hand, the affected Tata Tiago models have a chassis number ranging between MAT626184GKF16560 and MAT626141HKB10162, as Tata Motors reveals.<br/><br/>The automaker said that it is carrying out the voluntary recall campaign on the affected BS-IV vehicles to rectify the potential emission issue, free of cost. The affected owners of these vehicles can contact their nearest Tata Motors dealership.<br/><br/>However, the exact issue of these affected Tiago and Zest hatchbacks are yet to be disclosed.<br/><br/>This is the second such recall campaign for the Zest and Tiago models, as a similar recall campaign was initiated a few years ago.</p>
