Tata Motors' EV sales head Ashesh Dhar passes away
<p style="text-align: center;"><img title="1595820141335217.png" alt="9.png" src="/ueditor/php/upload/image/20200727/1595820141335217.png"/></p><p>Ashesh Dhar, the Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, Electric Vehicles, Tata Motors, has passed away on Friday night due to a cardiac arrest, according to an ETAuto source.<br/><br/>Ashesh Dhar joined Tata Motors in 2011 and previously headed Sales Support, Utility Vehicles and Tata Motors Assured divisions, before taking up the role of Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, Electric Vehicles back in July 2018.<br/><br/>Prior to joining Tata Motors, Ashesh Dhar has worked with automotive brands like Mahindra, TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto Ltd as well.<br/><br/>He started his career in the Indian auto industry back in 1991.<br/><br/>An alumnus of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani; Ashesh Dhar received his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1991.</p>
