Innova Research says 4 percent of the total industrial robots shipped in 2015 were cobots. Manufacturers are also beginning to incorporate Internet of Things into business models. This technology can improve the performance of hardware and provide real time feedback. When combined with robots, Internet of Things can create a larger network within a company that also increases productivity.
