Vestas receives 348-MW U.S. wind order
Under the new contract, Vestas will provide 174 of its V110-2.0 MW turbines
Vestas has received another firm and unconditional order in the United States. This agreement is for 174, V110-2.0 MW wind turbines, for a total of 348 MW. The customer currently remains undisclosed.
Wind turbine nacelles, blades, and towers will be produced in Vestas¡¯ Colorado factories. Delivery is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2018, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2018.
The contract includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines, as well as a multi-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
