Vestas receives new wind orders in the U.S.
Vestas has received two new firm and unconditional orders for wind turbines in the United States. For both orders, the customers¡¯ names have not been disclosed at their request.
One order comprises 40 MW of Vestas¡¯ V110-2.0 MW turbine components, which will support that client¡¯s future project portfolio.
The second order is for 70 MW of various 2.0-MW compatible turbine components, also for a future project pipeline. This order includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines.
Multiple turbine components from both orders will be produced at Vestas¡¯ Colorado factories.
