Comline Auto Parts has added to its range of own-brand hub assembly kits with the introduction of a wheel bearing kit line. The Luton-based company is offering Comline wheel bearing kits for two-piece Generation 0 designs through to dual-flange Generation 3 variants, with each part number delivered as a complete kit and containing all the relevant accessories that technicians need to ensure straightforward fitting. The accessories included vary depending on the respective application, but kits may contain nuts, split-pins, seals, caps, O-rings, circlips; lock-nuts, bolts, shields, spacers, paper-gaskets and washers. “Our new range of wheel bearing kits is the direct result of listening to the needs of our customers,” says Leigh Davies, marketing and communications manager at Comline. “Hub assembly kits have been part of the Comline portfolio for some time, but it became increasingly apparent that our customers needed a comprehensive range of wheel bearings from the brand. That’s exactly what we’ve delivered, and I believe Comline has a hub and bearing range that is right up there with the very best available in the aftermarket.” Comline says the kits are manufactured to high standards and tight tolerances in class-leading production facilities that operate to ISO 9001 certification and in compliance with TüV regulations. Lightweight, high-carbon steel is utilised for manufacture in order to provide a durable, heat-resistant product that delivers excellent performance throughout its service life. Long-life seals provide protection from contaminants, whilst high-performance grease offers effective lubrication from -20°C to 120°C, with corrosion protection and resistance to washout. Comline product general manager, Miten Parikh, comments on the importance of fitting the right wheel bearing: “Modern-day wheel bearings play a crucial role and must have the capacity to handle immense radial and/or axial loads.
