Kl¨¹ber Lubrication presents its latest speciality lubricants and services
The professional lubrication of wind turbines with exact fitting specialty lubricants is an essential precondition for a trouble-free operation, even under extreme weather conditions. Under the motto ¡°closer to you¡±, tribology expert Kl¨¹ber Lubrication will be presenting the latest solutions for highly stressed components of modern wind turbines at the WindEnergy 2016.

A focus of Kl¨¹ber Lubrication will be on Kl¨¹berplex BEM 34-131 N, a new speciality grease for rolling bearings which are permanently exposed to demanding operation conditions. Due to its excellent corrosion protection, its high chemical resistance to very low or very high temperatures, and its excellent wear protection even when subjected to vibration or oscillating movements, the new special grease increases the service lives of the bearings and the reliability of the wind turbine.
Permanent automatic lubrication systems in wind turbines are equipped with grease reservoirs of different sizes, which need to be refilled on a regular basis. The new air free bellow cartridge of Kl¨¹ber Lubrication meets the increasing demand for efficient refilling solutions for such permanent automatic lubrication systems. It prevents the transferring of air into the automatic lubrication system during a refill of the reservoirs, thus avoiding malfunctions. The new cartridge solution fits into the existing service relubrication pump units, enabling a cost-efficient relubrication without air.
For the efficient cleaning of gearboxes in wind turbines, Kl¨¹ber Lubrication has developed the new Kl¨¹ber Summit Varnasolv HV. Due to its high viscosity matching the gear oil, the new synthetic cleaning concentrate allows the cleaning of enclosed gears during operation. The used oil is subsequently drained to flush out any unwanted residues, and fresh, clean oil can be applied ¨C for example the synthetic gear oil Kl¨¹bersynth GEM 4-320 N which has proven highly effective in numerous wind power plants worldwide. With its high scuffing and micropitting strength, its high degree of wear protection, as well as its resistance to ageing and oxidation, Kl¨¹bersynth GEM 4-320 N is particularly suited to the specific requirements of the wind power sector.
