Schaeffler and Mike Rockenfeller to compete at motorsport festival
Motorsport fans have been looking forward to this weekend for a long time: On Saturday and Sunday (June 4/5), the DTM and the ADAC GT Masters will be running jointly at a motorsport festival at the Lausitzring. The DTM is holding rounds five and six of the season ¨C with four different winners in the first four races there is no discernible trend yet in the championship. Following a best time in free practice most recently at Spielberg, Mike Rockenfeller is set on converting his good performance in the race now as well.
For the Schaeffler representative this will be the tenth DTM race at the Lausitzring. The German, who is on the grid sporting the Schaeffler colors in his fifth season, feels comfortable on the 3.478-kilometer circuit. However, the driver of the Schaeffler Audi RS 5 DTM would like to extend his tally reflecting merely one podium place and two fastest laps.
