Japanese companies are known for their high process and quality requirements, and to receive an award from Japan - as Schaeffler has now done - is a particularly proud achievement.
The automotive supplier has received the so-called ¡°Project Contribution Award¡± from AISIN AW. Schaeffler supplies double turbine dampers with centrifugal pendulum-type absorber for the new AISIN AW 8-speed transmission and received the award for the outstanding collaboration and support during the volume production startup of the transmission in Japan.
